The Evolution4 whitening treatment is an advanced procedure designed to restore your teeth to their brightest, most natural shade.
When performed by a dentist, professional teeth whitening is a safe and comfortable way to enhance the appearance of your natural teeth. During your consultation, our Enlighten-trained dentists will assess your suitability for treatment, take clinical photographs of your current tooth shade, and capture a digital iTero scan of your mouth. This allows us to create custom-fitted whitening trays in Enlighten’s own laboratory.
The whitening treatment is then carried out at home under your dentist’s supervision. It can be used during the day, overnight, or a combination of both to suit your lifestyle. This method delivers long-lasting results and achieves a guaranteed B1 shade in 95% of patients.
Evo4 is the latest teeth whitening system from Enlighten, designed to give you a brighter, whiter smile with long-lasting results in just three weeks.
Before starting the treatment, you will use Enlighten’s serum toothpaste, which protects enamel and minimizes sensitivity. This toothpaste can also be used throughout the treatment for extra protection.
For the first two weeks, you will apply the Enlighten gel in your custom trays and wear them overnight. In the morning, rinse the trays with cold water and store them safely in a dry place.
In the third and final week, you switch to a 6% gel, wearing your trays for one hour a day for seven days. This final phase helps achieve your optimal, long-lasting shade.
Unlike other whitening systems, Enlighten allows you to enjoy your favourite foods and drinks without restrictions. The results can last a lifetime when you follow their recommended top-up schedule:
Use the 16% gel for one night each month during the first six months.
For the following year, whiten one night every two months.
After that, top up one night every six months or as needed.

Enlighten whitening costs £650 and this includes your enlighten whitening gels, laboratory made whitening trays which are customised to your smile, along with the dental appointments required for the fitting of your trays.
From us! Providing that your Dentist is happy to prescribe further Enlighten teeth whitening gels, then you can come to the practice to purchase these as we have them readily available. It is important to note that you must have had a dental examination within the last 6 months and your enlighten whitening trays must be of a good fit.
Like every whitening system, Enlighten is unable to whitening any man made restorations such as veneers, crowns, inlays or fillings. Enlighten can only change the shade of your natural teeth.
Crucially, your whitening gels must be kept in the fridge in order to avoid any heat sources or direct sunlight. If the gel has been out of the fridge for seven days, then this must be discarded.
